Joanna began studying music at age 4 in the Primary 1 Creative Music Classes at Portobello Music School where she went on to study violin at age 7. At age 14, she worked closely with the University of Edinburgh and friends at St Cecilia’s hall and Music Museum. This is where she began performing music and where she met, worked with, and played with many great musicians from across the UK.
In 2022, she began working at the music school as a classroom assistant and finds working with the children to be such a great experience. In addition to playing the violin, she also plays guitar, piano and saxophone, but would someday love to be able to play every instrument in the orchestra!
